Washington Fire Company Community Ambulance Administrative Building

After several years of planning and construction, The Washington Fire Company Community Ambulance’s new administrative building is in operation at Centre and 13^th Streets. The modern structure located at 1301 Centre St. is near the organization’s vehicle garage at 1309 Centre St., with the Washington Fire Company No. 1 firehouse between both buildings. The facility is designed with service to the community in mind, with training and housing of personnel, subsistence facilities, storage, and an administrative area designed especially for processing reports and required paperwork. The front room provides an area for meetings and also serves as an available training area for outside agencies such as the American Heart Association to conduct CPR training.
