PADOT DISTRICT 6-0 Bucks County Maintenance Facility completed

Heim Construction Co., Inc. the successful bidder for the construction of the new Bucks County Maintenance Facility in Plumstead Township finalized its project role and the building was occupied last week. The $9.4 million contract called for the construction of five (5) individual facilities.
The Administration Building and Vehicle Maintenance Facility is a 30,060 SF single-story building, 32’-0” high. Administrative Office includes private and open offices, a visitor waiting area, a large dividable training room, break rooms, and toilet facilities.
The Maintenance Garage Facility includes five (5) drive-thru double bays, a welding bay, and a drive-thru wash bay.
Included are a water storage tank, pump shed, storage building, and site fences and gates.
Maintenance crews will get a high arch salt storage, brine making, and 50/50 mix building.
Rounding out the construction is a building for the paint crew and sign & bridge crews.
The site paving is complete, and interior clean-up and some minor details will finish the project.
