Roy A. Heim began Roy A. Heim Construction in 1990. In 1994, he incorporated his company, which now is Heim Construction Co., Inc. His expertise is in construction and estimating. Mr. Heim had been responsible for the growth of his company for the past 28 years. His background has been in the General Construction of the medical field, municipality work and general commercial construction. Michael Wright started in construction working for his father in the 1970's doing home remodeling and additions. Carpentry Foreman, Richard Long has been with Heim Construction since 1992. Over this 25 year span Rich has been mainly involved in our high end residential projects and has become our go to foreman in hospital and health care projects. Rich brings to Heim Construction Co., Inc. years of experience in the field of carpentry. His duties as foremen consist of daily communication and planning with the Owners, leading, supervision and safety of the onsite employees and subcontractors. Rich has earned the respect of the customer and is intent in caring for everyone’s interests.
Cameron Smith, Superintendent/GC Division

Cameron Smith started his education in carpentry and construction by attending Schuylkill County Vocational-Technical School for three years. His education continued at Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology, and he graduated with a two-year Associates Degree in Carpentry and Construction. Each day on the job continues his education. My interest in carpentry started as a child when my father and grandfather allowed me to help them in their shops. These projects varied from replacing a window to building an Indy-style go-cart. This interest continued into high school, and I worked with a local builder who had years of experience. I learned to be concerned and thorough with the details and to do the job right the first time. These qualities have stayed with me to this day. After college, I worked with other local builders for the next 14 years. Our projects were anything from building homes to remodeling a room or building a deck. I have been employed by Heim since 2000. While being employed here, I have worked my way from laborer to finish carpenter. I am in charge of the Finish Shop, which deals with cabinets, trim, case work, and spray finishes. I am also a Certified Corian Fabricator and Installer. When not at work, I enjoy touring the area on my motorcycle and helping with community functions. I am an assistant coach of the Williams Valley Girls Soccer Team. I like to keep an open mind and live by the words of Ray Kroc, founder of McDonald’s, "As long as you’re green, you’re growing. As soon as you’re ripe, you start to rot. Todd Techentine brings 30 years in Carpentry experience. Working with Heim Construction Co., Inc. for over 10 years. Todd has accomplished many Design Build Projects in both the Residential and Commercial environment. Todd’s recent project won the Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. award for the best commercial construction project under $10 million dollars. The award has become the premier competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects across the country. We are very proud of Todd’s direction and attention to detail. His duties consist of leading, supervision and safety of the onsite employees and subcontractors.
